Wish we all could be California girls
About 4:30 this morning I woke up with a very odd feeling. Things were shaking and the pictures on the wall were rattling. Was it a train? We're too far from the tracks. A low flying jet? It would have to be a military bomber. A big truck rumbling down the road? Not at this hour. But it couldn't be an earthquake. Not here. Well, I was wrong. 5.2 on the Richter scale. What's next, monsoons?

wow! Did you have any damage?
I heard about it on the radio.
I missed the whole thing, but my kids did not. They are at my bedside claiming to be scared of something. I didn't figure it out until much later.
God is powerful, is He not?
We all slept through this one. I even slept through an earthquake in California one time. I guess it's going to take a lot more than an earthquake to wake me up!
